OUR BENEFITS
Prevents Over Mulching
Mulch has several purposes, including weed control, moisture retention and aesthetic appeal. We have found that while the mulch loses color every year, frequently it has not fully broken down (decomposed) at the same rate as new mulch is being added each year. Many landscapers, at the request of their clients, add more mulch on top of an already excessive base of mulch in attempt to restore the “fresh” look of the mulch. Over time these beds turn into "mulch volcanoes" and can kill surrounding plants, all while wasting unnecessary money and mulch. At ReDye Mulch, we use your existing mulch base to regain that fresh look clients are looking for, while allowing the mulch sufficient time to adequately break down. Maximizes Crew Efficiency
Once the grass starts growing, the race is on to get properties looking fresh and clean as quickly as possible. Since the grass grows so quickly and weather fluctuates significantly in the spring, many landscaping crews struggle just to keep up with mowing maintenance while also trying to figure out how they can get all their properties mulched in a timely manner using the same mowing crews/technicians. We can help! By using ReDye Mulch to address your mulch coloring needs, we are able to quickly re-color and refresh the mulch beds at a cost savings. We work as an extension of your crews with proactive communication providing timelines, documentation, and photos of completed projects. This allows your teams to focus on getting the properties cleaned, mowed, and maintained as quickly as possible.
Delivers Cost Savings
Mulch installation costs can be broken out into three areas: mulch material, freight/delivery, and labor to install, all of which are well known in the marketplace. With raw material and labor costs already eroded to near break-even levels and freight costs restricting national/multi-site customers’ ability to leverage scale for savings (due to the weight of mulch material), how else can cost savings be achieved? At ReDye Mulch, our ReDyeing service provides a lower cost alternative by eliminating much of the material and freight/delivery costs associated with traditional mulch installing. This allows you to save money without compromising the look of your property. Additionally, without the geographic constraints of freight costs, ReDyeing enables multi-site customers to better leverage their scale to achieve savings across their portfolio.
